During the week of July 16 to July 21, 2023 the nexIK project was presented in several national and international events.
@ IEEE INDIN 2023 - Lemgo, Germany
On July 16, Lucas Pereira presented the paper titled Understanding the Role of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage in a Snack Bar: A Case Study in Madeira Island in a special session devopted to the topic of Technologies, Infrastructures and Applications for Smart Grids, Buildings and Cities (Part I: Enabling technologies and infrastructures towards smart and sustainable energy distribution and living).

@ LARSyS 2023 - Lisbon, Portugal
On July 16 and July 17, Vasco Andrade and Márcio Romero presented the nexIK project at the Annual event of the Associate Laboratory of Robotics and Engineering Systems (LARSyS).
More precisely, Vasco presented the results of his research in forecasting the consumption of electric appliances in industrial kitchens. Whereas, Márcio presented the gobal vision of the nexIK project.

Finally, on July 21, Hugo Morais hosted a session devoted to the nexIK project at the Global July event in Minas Gerais, Brazil. In this session Hugo Morais, Lucas Pereira, Miriam Ribeiro, Vasco Andrade and Ana Oliveira had to chance to present the main vision and results of the nexIK project.
